As a trusted civil society organization, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of governance, ethical conduct, financial management, and institutional integrity. Our organization is governed by an independent Board of Directors that provides strategic leadership, policy guidance, and oversight while ensuring compliance with national laws and international standards of good governance. Daily operations are led by an experienced Executive Director supported by qualified program, finance, monitoring and evaluation, and administrative staff.

Safeguarding

ECDIC is committed to providing safe and respectful environments for all staff, volunteers, partners, and program participants. We promote safeguarding principles that protect children, women, vulnerable adults, and marginalized communities from abuse, exploitation, harassment, and discrimination. Accountability to Communities Communities are central to our accountability framework. We actively seek feedback from beneficiaries and stakeholders through consultations, participatory monitoring, community meetings, and grievance mechanisms that strengthen program quality and institutional learning.

Accountability to Donors

ECDIC manages donor resources with professionalism, transparency, and efficiency. We apply internationally recognized financial management practices, maintain comprehensive documentation, monitor results systematically, and provide timely narrative and financial reporting that demonstrates measurable impact and responsible stewardship of resources. Integrity, transparency, and continuous learning remain the foundation of every program we implement.
